Affordable Prom Dresses

Proms have been the pinnacle social event of high school for as long as I can remember. Proms spoke to the closure of our carefree lives as teenagers and the start of what was regarded as the serious pursuit of our higher education. It is also a night to dress to impress. My style mantra has always been to dress for your body type. A flattering frock is a much better buy than one that looks great on a model but doesn’t fit you quite right. No matter what dress you buy, it should make you feel comfortable and fit beautifully. Dresswe Prom Dresses 2014 is right around the corner and it’s never too early to start searching for that Dresswe Cheap special occasion dresses. has a variety of cheap and affordable prom dresses that will fit any budget.
They also carry Dresswe prom shoes so that you can complete your whole outfit.
Currently they are running a monthly event where if you submit your wedding photos you can win your order for free.

How to Choose your Wedding Gown Style

In all the excitement and stress of planning your perfect wedding, one of the most important things you will purchase is your bridal wedding dress. Ericdress provides a wide selection of bridal dresses at a great price. So before heading to the bridal shop you should have an idea about which style you prefer. Here are some dresses for wedding styles you should be familiar with:
  • A-line: aka princess dress has no marked waist and the vertical seams flow from the shoulders down to a flared skirt, creating an "A" shape. For those that carry their weight in the middle this silhouette is a nice choice.
  • Ball gown: are normally quite formal, reminding you of Cinderella. The bodice is fitted with a very full skirt. Ball gowns can be long sleeve wedding dresses, sleeveless or anywhere in between. The full skirt of a ball gown can hide large hips and thighs. Ericdress carries many different styles of ball gown wedding dresses as well.
  • Empire: have a raised waistline that starts right under the bust, flowing to a skirt that skims over the hips then flairs slightly to the floor. This romantic silhouette is flattering to most body types, particularly to small-breasted women.
  • Mermaid: is contoured against the body then the gown flows out beginning around the knees. Lace mermaid wedding gowns are considered the sexiest style. If you're confident in your body, this style can show off your curves. This is the most popular style at Ericdress.
  • Sheath: aka column dress has a slim shape that follows close to the line of the body. The straight design doesn't allow for many body flaws. The long lines of a sheath gown can elongate the look of your body which is a plus for short brides.
Bride-to-be can visit, show your style photo and get $10 from Ericdress. For a selection of affordable dresses check out Ericdress at

Style Me Pretty :: Reaccessorize Wedding Attires

Wedding Season
Gucci Ursula Heels (here) || Serendipity dress (here)

Spring is here and that means wedding season has begun. With so many to attend, it gets expensive if you need to buy a new dress each time. Here are some ways to get more wear from one dress. Have at least one simple go-to dress in your closet that you feel comfortable in. You will get more wear from a dress when it is basic and simple in look because they are less identifiable when worn multiple times, especially when you change up what you wear with them. Get more wear out of a dress by buying different types of jewelry, shoes and wraps to change up your look. The key to getting maximum use out of one dress is through your accessories. Switch from gold to silver or diamonds to pearls and you will instantly have a new look. A simple change in jewelry can make a huge difference in the way you look. So before you go out and buy a new dress for your next event try freshening up a dress you already own with new shoes and some exciting new jewelry. Check out FreshTrends, they have a great selection of jewelry, specifically body jewelry that will add glamor to your wedding attire.

Scallops and Prints :: Peter Pilotto for Target

  Blazer :: H&M (similar here)
Tank :: Peter Pilotto for Target (here)
Trousers :: Peter Pilotto for Target (here
Mary Janes Heels :: Zara (splurge here)
Bracelet :: Jcrew pave link bracelet (here)

Today I expressed my love for prints with this ensemble from the Peter Pilotto for Target collection. Out of all the Target collaborations, I was most excited about this one. His work contains luxurious materials with exceptional prints, so I was curious to see what was in store. Among the Peter Pilotto for Target items this abstract ensemble is the most subtle. To balance out the prints I added a gray blazer with scallop-edged detail for a statement-making contrast. Of the collection, this outfit, this sweater (very soft and pretty!) and this skirt (love the bold print!) are my favorites. Have some fun with your wardrobe and decide how bold you are with the severity of your geometric print this season.
