Bright Bold Pants

One trend that I am currently loving this season is the bold, bright pants - they are fun and refreshing. Especially for a season that's normally known for its moody grays and blacks.

Colored pants can seem intimidating because most people just assume it won't go with anything, but that's not the case. If anything they are a great investment because they make such a statement that the rest of the outfit can be pretty simple.

 One way to wear colored pants subtly is to control the amount of color being exposed. Here I paired the hot pink pants with a long gray sweater. This balances out the color scheme as well as the silhouette of the outfit. Colored pants comes in many different styles so you'll surely find a hot hue that suits you. 

Tips on wearing colored pants:

1. Pick a Color - Choose a color that you like because most likely if you don't even like the color you won't wear it. Don't be afraid to be a rebel with a cause and choose whatever tickles your fancy.

2. Choose your style - Pick a style that works for you and that you feel comfortable wearing. Don't get all crazy with different cuts and design just because of the color.

3. Experiment, Experiment - Try it on with different items from your closet. Don't be afraid to pair your colorful pants with an equally bright top. But if you haven't worked up that kind of courage, then keep the top neutral. A crisp white button down also makes for an always-classic look.
