The Scalloped Edge

Hi everyone! I hope you had a wonderful weekend!

One of the trends that I find so unique is the scalloped edge. We first saw them on shorts and now it has gradually sneaked up on us and can be seen on everything from dresses to pants, blouses and accessories.

 As we embrace all things pretty and feminine, nothing sweeter comes to mind than a simple scalloped edge. Echoing natures softest shapes like waves, flowers, and shells - a scalloped hem adds a soft, feminine and vintagy touch to our wardrobe.
 
 With a delicate yet bold touch, the scalloped edge cut brings forth a nice change from the harshness of a straight line. Here I paired my scalloped hem blazer with a lace pencil skirt to juxtapose the different texture of the garments giving off an edgy yet feminine look.
 
Whether you incorporate the scalloped edge into your wardrobe with a subtle blouse, edgy shorts, or feminine skirt, you’ll be making a sartorial statement in one of this season’s most charming trends =)

    Loving this outfit and your explanation/description is very accurate. At first I didn`t even notice the edge of the blazer. Very pretty and goes well together even though the pieces have different textures. And love how you wear the bodysuit - makes it look like a dress!
