Style has taken a swinging turn with fringe bags, vests, dresses and accessories standing out as must have items for the up and coming season. I was on the fringe about this trend because I thought most of the items looked a little costumey. But during the pre-Thanksgiving sale, I came upon this suede fringe vest for less than $10 and thought I'd give it a try.
I love the key concept behind this trend with the neutral suedes and unique silhouettes, it gives off that effortlessly chic look but also makes it fun as well. In particular a fashionable vest, be it a fringe one, is such a versatile separate that can be dressed up or down to suit different occasions.
The best thing about this trend is that it can be interpreted in many ways and adds a fun, unique finish to your look. So instead of donning an all-out fringey look, add fringe subtly to any outfit with a nice pair of fringed earrings or accessories, fringed handbag, booties with frills or a fringed vest like this one. It's a super-fun trend to try!
Here I tried to mix and match various styles from the decades and paired this vest with my skull-ring clutch for a rocker chic look. Many of you have asked me whether the skull and jewels were individual rings but they are actually ring-handles attached to my clutch!
